Sailing Holidays in Ljubački Zaljev

Ljubački Zaljev indents the mainland between Otočić Mišjak (44°18′N 15°12′E) and Rt Jurnovica, 3¼ miles ENE, the S entrance point of Ljubačka Vrata. The bay forms part of Ninsko-Ljubački Kanal and is divided into two by Rt Ljubljana (44°17′N 15°17′E) on which stand the ruins of a castle; Uvala Ljubačka Vala (Lubačka Vrata) lies to the SW of the point, Uvala Plemići lies NE of the point. The sides of the bay are generally bare. The combined villages of Benići and Miletići, 0. 8 miles SE of Rt Jurnovica are prominent. In Uvala Ljubačka Vala, W of the village of Ljubač, in 11 to 15 m mud, unreliable holding. About half mile SSE of Rt Jurnovica, close off the NE shore W of Miletići, noting a submerged rock in the vicinity on the narrow shallow coastal bank; good shelter is a Bora when a hawser to the shore is advised. Anchorage in Uvala Plemići is not recommended on account of the strength of the Bora and Scirocco.
