30 kilometres away from Zadar lays a small settlement in the south part of the Velebit channel. Because the vicinity of the mountain Velebit which in combination with the sea contributes to the freshness and clearness of the air in Razanac so it is frequently visited by people who have respiratory problems. Churches and cultural landmarks are relics of town’s turbulent history, and the most famous fort Kastelina was built in the 16th century as a defense mechanism against Turkish invaders.
