Novigradsko More (44°12′N 15°32′E) is a landlocked and inland bay connected to the SE end of Velibitski Kanal by Novsko Ždrilo. It contains several small harbours and a deep water ore terminal. Rijeka Zrmanja, which enters the bay at the E end, is navigable by small craft as far as the village of Obrovac, about 6 miles from the river mouth. At the SE end of the bay Karinsko Ždrilo leads into Karinsko More. Edible mussels abound and there is a tunny fishery.
