Brna harbour is entered between Rt Veli Zaglav (42°54′N 16°51′E) and Rt Vinačac, about 0. 6 miles WNW, noting that a rocky 6 m patch lies about 185 meters W of the former. The small natural harbour is divided into two narrow arms by Rt Mali Zaglav from which a light (red tower, 5 m in height) is exhibited, and on which stands a prominent hotel building and the village of Brna. SW of Rt Mali Zaglav in about 37 m, or at the head of the SE arm in 5·5 to 9⋅0 m, sand, good anchorage but in a Bora hawsers laid to the shore are advised; at the head of the NW arm in about 8 m, mud and sand good holding, with hawsers to the shore in a Bora, suitable only for boats.
