Harbor Kiátou is a small commercial harbor at the SW end of the entrance of Korínthou bay, in front of Kórinthos settlement, and about 10 miles WNW of canal Korínthou. The harbor is open SE and has an entrance opening of 210 m. From N and NE winds it is protected by a curved mole with a total length of 400 m, which extends NE for 100 m, continues for 200 m E and for another 100 m SE.
About 40 m S of the root of the mole there is a quay orient 140°–320° and length of 120 m. Depths near it are about 5 m. Mainly cargo ships berth alongside the quay. Depths inside the harbor are 6–10 m. About 220 m SE of the quay there is a small harbor.
Navigational Aids
The entrance is open NE, it has a width of about 30 m and depths of less than 1 m along the axis. The small harbor is protected from the N by a windward curved mole extending N for 50 m and then E for another 100 m.
Vrahati beach attracts many visitors during the summer months. Organized pebbled beach with sun beds and umbrellas.
Next to Vrahati you will find the pebbled beach Kokkoni. Very clean, quiet beach with beautiful restaurants.
The beach Neratzis not only has the blue waters with pebbles but also has beautiful views to the lighthouse of Heraion located directly opposite. Perfect beach for those seeking a little privacy.
The long beach of Kiato with sand and pebbles offers unique moments in its blue waters. Organized beach with sun beds, umbrellas and some water sports.
