Baia di Talamone lies between the headland on which the town of Talamone stands and a point, 1. 5 miles E, on which Torre dell’Osa, grey, square, stands. Anchorage can be obtained in depths of 12 m, mud, good holding ground, about 750 m ENE of Talamone Light (42°31′1N, 11°08′0E). Smaller vessels anchor in depths of about 7 m.
