Marina di Portisco (also known as Marina di Santa Petra) is is protected by an angled Outer Mole and an L-shaped Inner Mole. Anchorage can be obtained in depths of 7 m to 10 m, sand and weed, off the harbour entrance. Smaller vessels can obtain anchorage in depths of about 6 m, mud and weed, in the mouth of Porto di Cugnana, a shallow bay S of the harbour entrance. Mariners should note the prohibited anchorage area within Porto di Cugnana which encloses a submarine power cable.
