Sailing Holidays in Porto Cervo
Porto Cervo is one of the most important yacht harbours in the Mediterranean occupying a long inlet surrounded by a resort complex. The former commercial harbour, Porto Vecchio, close inside the entrance on the S side of the inlet, now provides facilities for all types yachts.
A large modern marina, Porto Cervo Marina, occupies the W end of the inlet and is protected from the E by an angled mole extending generally SE from the N shore. The marina entrance lies between the head of the mole and the S shore. Anchorage can be obtained in depths of about 7 m in the N part of the outer harbour. The shoals extending from the N coast are marked by red buoys but should not be relied upon.
