Porto di Lido is situated between Isola di Malamocco and Punta Sabbioni, the SW extremity of Litorale del Cavallino, and is entered between two breakwaters. Within the breakwaters it is joined on the NE side by Canale di Treporti and Canale di San Erasmo, two minor channels, before rounding the N end of Isola di Malamocco where it connects with the NE end of Canale di San Nicolò.
