Duino, a village of bright white and yellow dwellings, dominated by Castello di Duino which stands on a rocky promontory. At the W foot of the promontory there is a small harbour about 50 m by 30 m enclosed between two moles with an entrance, open NW, about 10 m wide. The harbour is used by fishing vessels.
