Porto di Brondolo is situated at the mouth of Fiume Brenta, entry to which is restricted by shallow banks shared with Porto Fossone. A breakwater, the end of which is marked by a light-beacon (E cardinal), extends about 460 m to seaward on the N side of the entrance. The river, which is spanned by several bridges at the village of Brondolo, 1. 5 miles within the entrance, is connected by inland canals with Chioggia, Padua, and Vicenza and to Fiume Po Grande and Fiume Adige.
