Diano Marina is a small craft and fishing harbour fronting the SW part of the town which lies either side of Torrente di San Pietro. Anchorage can be obtained a depth of 15 m, sand, 750 m off Diano Marina. The belfry in Diano Castello bearing 309° and the largest belfry in Cervo are useful marks. Smaller vessels can obtain anchorage closer inshore in a depth of about 6 m. Mariners should note the dangerous wreck 370 m NNE of Capo Berta and the site of an historic wreck, protected by an area within which anchoring and fishing are prohibited, 1. 5 miles ENE of Capo Berta.
