The mouth of Fiume Cavone, flows into the sea 2. 25 miles NE of Torre Scanzano. The mouth is difficult to distinguish owing to low scrub. Anchorage can be obtained off the coast close N of the mouth of Fiume Cavone. Local knowledge is required for the anchorage.
