Isola di Vivara is covered with vegetation and surmounted by an old tower. The island is connected to Isola di Procida by a footbridge carrying a water pipe which obstructs the channel between the NE extremity of Isola di Vivara and Punta Ciraccello, the W extremity of Punta del Perricchio.
