The beach of Xanemos, a beach with large pebbles, is situated some 3,5 kilometers northeastern to the town of Skiathos, within a cove, at the eastern coast of the island. It owes its name to the fact that it is totally open to the strong northern winds blowing in the area with very cold waters. The beach has facilities for sea sports as well. The nice view to Skopelos, the crystal clear sea and the short distance from the town of Skiathos and the airport have made the beach pretty popular, especially among nudists and naturists.
