Very small and beautiful sandy beach about 15 km west of the town of Skiathos at the west end of the island, about two kilometers west of Koukounaries. The name Kryfi Ammos means hidden sand as the beach is literally hidden from sight behind small hills and rocks. The turquoise waters and the creek make the beach look like a natural pond. Although lacking facilities, the beach has a crystal clear sea and the environment is exotic as well as calm. It is also located opposite to the west and the sun shines until late (especially in June and July it shines until late in the evening). A great option for a swim while sailing in Greece. Access is best by boat.
