Edipsos is the most famous resort to healing mineral baths in Greece. There are more than eight individual springs with waters ranging from 28°C to 86°C, which can be quite hot. The springs are famous for curing many diseases such as rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis. At the area there are many privately owned spa facilities, pools, hotels and tavernas. Also there is a rare phenomenon that is difficult to find anywhere else in the world, the warm water gushes from the sea bed, offering visitors a unique experience.
