The beach has small pebbles but fine white sand in its sea bottom; the only downside is that it is narrow in width and filled with people. The deep water makes it ideal for water sports. In this region there is a pine forest. This beach is ideal for sea kayaking. Route starts from Tzortzi Yialos beach on the south east coast and paddle across to the island of Peristera, passing through the bays and beaches of the south coast. Visitors will paddle over the remains of an ancient shipwreck and snorkel over the undersea cave found in one of the coves. It is possible to make a walk through the olive groves in Peristera.
