Sailing Holidays in Zea Marina

Marina Zea, also called Pasalimani, is situated on the west side of Piraeus port, 44km away from Athens Airport El. Venizelos (IATA: ATH). It is adjacent to the Naval & Archaeological Museum of Piraeus and the Ancient Theatre of Zea (4th -3rd century BC). The marina operates all year round on a 24-hour basis. The total capacity is 670 berths, on both permanent and floating pontoons for boats up to 80 meters long.

Many luxury yachts moor at the marina during winter and summer. A walk around the west end of the dock gives the opportunity to view a panorama of the Pasalimani gulf and its narrow entrance from the side of Kastella. To the west guests can admire the Saronic gulf and to the south west the Athens Riviera coast.

At the entrance of the harbour, boats are required to call the marina on the VHF channel 9 in order to receive instructions. The marina’s pilot boat will provide all necessary assistance. Zea Marina, offering facilities and services of high standards, was totally renovated for the 2004 Olympic Games.
