Odeon of Herodes Atticus, known as Herodeon, was built in 161 AC and had a capacity of 5.000 people. It was used for music concerts but it was destroyed in 267 AD. It isIt issituated near Acropolis on Dionisiou Aeropageitou Street. Herodeon was restored in the 1950s and It isit is the main venue of the Athens Festival, a popular event, featuring a variety of Greek and International performances.
