East from Souvala, the coastal road continues and after about 4 kilometers, it reaches Vagia which is a small picturesque tourist resort. The village is much smaller than Souvala and it has a s mall picturesque harbour. You can find rooms to rent and taverns as well. Vagia bears testament to ancient habitation from the 5th century, as excavation here shown. The area is full of pine trees and the beach of the village is sandy, which makes it ideal for a cool swim. You will find tavernas which offer a meze or coffee, as well as quest houses and rooms to let.
