Sailing Holidays in Neos Marmaras Harbor

The small port is open to the southwest and covered from the west by a small peninsula of south direction, which is 300 meters long and ends up at cape Néos Marmarás. The opening of the entrance is 200 meters and its penetration to the north is 300 meters.

From the west entrance of the small port a 50-meter-long mole, made of natural boulders, starts and extends to the southeast. From the east end of the mole a 250-meter-long floating pontoon of east-northeast direction starts. The pontoon protects the small port from south winds.

On the quayed west coast of the port there are three floating jetties of east direction, 70 meters long each, which are used by berthing fishing crafts and yachts. At the head of the west mole, as well as at the head of the east mole, there are only frames of the lights, without any actual lights installed.

On the northwest coast of the small port there is a pier, 80 meters long and 30 meters wide, with depths of about 3 meters near its head and of less than 1 meter near its side. The east shores of the port are protected from the waves raised by south winds by a mole, 110 meters long, with a west-southwest direction.

Its outer side is made of natural boulders while its inner side is quayed, with depths of less than 2 meters near it. About in the middle of the east shores there is a small pier, 40 meters long, with depths of 2.2 meters near its head.
