Aspres (the word means white in Greek) is a 350 meters long beach with pebbles, situated at a distance of some 47 kilometers southwestern to the town of Samos. The beach is found at the southwestern coast of the island, within the bay of Marathokambos, close to the tourist resort of Ormos Marathokambou; it is well protected from the winds and the sea is very clean and not very deep. Accommodation is possible both close to the beach and in the area around and the visitors of the place will enjoy coffee and cool refreshments at the coffee bar by the seaside and full meals at the seafront tavern of the beach. Aspres is not an organized beach; you will enjoy swimming and sunbathing at a place far from the capital town of Samos, but close to other tourist resorts. And if you feel like you may pop to the smaller and more secluded nearby beaches, which are also nudism tolerant. Access to the beach from the town of Samos is possible by rented or private car and motorbikes via Marathokambos, following the road leading to Kallithea.
