Agios Ioannis Eleimonas (i.e St. John the Charitable) is a tiny, only 250 meters long, pebbly beach with nice pebbles and very clean sea of medium depth, situated at a distance of some 60 kilometers southwestern to the town of Samos. As it is found within a small cove at the southwestern coast of the island, it is well protected from the winds. It is a totally secluded beach, ideal for those preferring to swim and sunbathe almost alone. Once at this beach you may visit the Holy Monastery of Aghios Ioannis Eleimonas (St. John the Charitable), which is very close to the beach and where you will arrive via a small footpath. Accommodation facilities are not available at all, not only at the beach but also in the broader area; the nearest place for lodging is the area of Marathokambos. Also, there are no facilities for eating and drinks, so don_
