This beach is located a few kilometers on the south of the village of Eresos, 92 km on south-west of Mytilene. It is considered one of the best and most beautiful beaches of the island and extends for a length of 3 km. It is formed by a thin gray sand. In comparison to other beaches, this beach is not affected by the winds of the Aegean Sea. Here you'll find a wide choice of tavernas that serve appetizers as well as quiet cafes and bars within walking distance of the bay. Visitors can also practice many marine sports. West of the beach is a pond full of turtles. In the village, tourists can find more tavernas, bars, cafes and accommodation. Skala Eresou received the Blue Flag award as one of the most beautiful and clean beaches of Greece.
