The port is protected to the west by a 170-meter mole, set to the south. A light exhibits at the head of the mole. The western (outer) side of the mole is protected by a slope of masonry and a parapet. The head and the eastern (inner) side of the mole are quayed, with nearby depths up to 5.5 m, up to a distance of 50 m off its shores.

A 50-meter-long jetty is positioned in a distance of 50 m from the inner root of the mole and is vertical to its outer side. A small basin, with depths up to 3 m, is formed to the north of the jetty.
