The beach of Gomati, in the central north of Limnos, is set in a cove, at three kilometers north of the village of Katalakko. Gomati Beach is a quiet beach with clear waters and it has the largest sand dunes of the island. Gomati can only be reached over a dirt track from Katalakko or by the sea. Gomati Beach supposedly is also a good spot for windsurfing because of the Meltemi winds that can blow here (normally beaches on the north of an island are more affected by the wind).
