The small port Néa Róda is open to the west and the width of its entrance is 100 meters. The depths in the inner part are about 3 meters, and they decrease normally towards the coast. The small port is protected by a curved mole, 125 meters long. On its head a light operates. Its outer side is made of natural boulders while its inner side is quayed.

The part of the coast of the port that is located from the root of the mole towards the east is quayed for 50 meters, with depths of less than 1 meter near it. Settlement Néa Róda (1,156 residents) is located northwest of the port and at its shores there is a small pier 50 meters long, with depths of about 2 meters near its head.
