Ammouliani is the only inhabited island in Chalkidiki, 4.5 m² in size, located 120 km from Thessaloniki. The best choice is to visit all the beaches of the island, even the most hidden ones as each has its own charm. Most beaches are easily accessible. The southeastern rocky beaches are ideal for fishing and rifle-harpooning. If someone doesn't know the area or need something, the local fishermen are a good source of information.
