The Municipal theater of Kalamata was built in 1984. It has two stages, the central stage and the new stage. Until now Municipal Theater of Kalamata has presented 150 plays of Greek and global drama.Also, the Municipal Theater of Kalamata hosts many performances during the Kalamata Dance Festival, a popular dancing event, which is held during the summer.
