It is a small beach with many bars, cafes and restaurants and, also, a diving school. Nearby there are the famous Blue Caves and Marathonisi which has beautiful beaches and clear waters.

Limnis Keriou beach and the whole area of Laganas bay is one of the most important shelters for the endangered species of Caretta-caretta in Greece.
