Dafni beach is located south of Zakynthos in Vassilikos area. The beaches of this region belong to the Marine Park of Zakynthos. It is a long sandy beach, in which sea turtle careta-careta lays its eggs. The beach is protected and in some parts may be prohibited to the public to ensure the safety of turtles' eggs. There are two restaurants on the beach but the water sports are not allowed.
