Harbor Sámis is artificial and protected by a mole that extends almost W for 178 m, with a light at its head. The middle of its outer side has been widened to include a ramp 33 m long; it has depths of 8.3 m near it. The inner side is quayed, with depths of 3.2–5 m near the first 70 m from the root and depths of 5.3–6.1 m near the remaining part. From the inner root of the mole the SE and S quayed coasts of the harbor extend for about 450 m, with depths of 3–5 m near them.

At a distance of 225 m SW of the root of the mole there is a T-shaped jetty that extends N for 110 m. Depths near the body are 1.8–3 m and near the head 2.9 m. At the W end of the quayed coasts there are two ramps with depths of 5 m near them. Immediately W of the ramps a fishing shelter been constructed.
