The small harbor is open SW, has an entrance opening of 60 m and depths of about 3.6 – 4.2 m. at its axis. It is sheltered by W winds by a curved mole that extends SW for 100 m and continues SE for 215 m. In the middle of the outer side of the curved mole there is a 15 m long quay that is approached by vessels for fuel. From a point of the shore 90 m SE of the head starts a leeward mole that extends W for 40 m.

The outer sides of both moles are protected by rock ballasting; the inner sides are quayed. A jetty that extends SW for 74 m lies about 130 m SE of the root of the curved mole. Its W side is made of natural boulders; the E side is quayed. Depths near its head are 2 m, decreasing gradually to 1 m near its root.
