The theater of Rhodes is located into the ancient Acropole, next to the ancient stadium of Rhodes. It is one of the most important archaeological monuments of Rhodes. The rectangular shape is original. According to Diodurus of Sicily there was a much larger theater near the harbor at Symi. Nowadays, it can seat 800 people and it hosts many theatrical performances and concerts.
