The National Theater of Rhodes is located at central square of the town. It was constructed in 1937, during the Italian domination. Because of this, it is known as Theater Puccini in honor of the great Italian composer. The performance hall is high and quite long with large balconies, theater boxes and a bar. Now the theater serves for theatrical performances and movies.
