The sandy beach of Kastraki is situated at the eastern coast of Rhodes, at a distance of some 12-16 kilometers far from the town of Rhodes at the South. Well organized, this nice sandy beach offers to the swimmers a wide range of swimming and sunbathing facilities, which makes it very popular. Access to the beach from the town of Rhodes is easy by public bus, running frequently, by taxi (a taxi station is available in the resort) as well as by rented or private car and motorbikes. Of course, if you stay in a nearby hotel, you will have access to the beach also on foot.
