This beach is located in Vagies, a small, quiet bay, and it's the most famous beach in Rhodes. The shooting of the movie 'The Guns of Navarone' made this beach famous and Antony Quinn, the star of this film, gave his name to the beach. Its one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and is fairly close to the city of Rhodes (15km south east) and even closer to Faliraki (3 km) It is a rocky beach with clear waters and a small deck which gives one access to small boats at the wharf. You can also dive and admire the sea-life.
