Kinaros is a small island of the Dodecanese islands located in the sea area between the Cyclades and the Dodecanese, west of Kalymnos and Leros and east of Amorgos. There is only a single house here.

Its nearest neighbor is Levitha. During the summer months both islands are frequented by fishing boats and sailing yachts that take advantage of their protected coves.

Kinaros has only one cove , Cove Pnigos, that is well sheltered from the northerly meltemi (the Etesians).
