Tou mouggou (i.e. deaf in Greek) cafe is one of the oldest cafes in Greece. It is located opposite the Town Hall of Astypalaia and around its wooven stove, locals play backgammon and cards. It is more than 100 years old and its first owner was deaf (hence the name of the café). Its current owner offers coffees, ouzo, tsipouro and great mezedes, as octopus and other seafood.
