The sandy beach of Ambela is situated within a small cove close to Megas Gialos, at a distance of 12,5 kilometers far from Hermoupolis at the Southwest. It is a pretty secluded beach with nice sand and shade from trees, well protected from the northern winds. The beach is not organised. Accommodation, food and drink and other facilities are available at the near by settlement of Megas Gialos.
