Beach Houlakia is Located 4 km north of the capital. It is not a sandy beach and features only pebbles (houlakia is the local word for the Greek word “votsala”, meaning pebbles). Choulakia beach is a protected area so it is not recommended for swimming, but you should go there to admire the beauty of the landscape.
