Sailing Holidays in Aegean Maritime Museum of Mykonos
The Aegean Maritime museum was founded in 1983 and opened to the public in 1985. It is located at the area of Tria Pigadia, in a traditional Myconian building of the 19th century.
The Museum is dedicated on promoting the preservation and study of the Greek maritime history, especially in the Aegean Sea. The garden of the Aegean Maritime Museum, aside from displaying the Armenistis lighthouse (built in 1890), has a number of ancient sailors` marble gravestones collected from the islands of Mykonos and Delos.
