At the northern tip of Milos, 4km. northeast of Plaka, the island's capital, is one of the most photographed places in the Aegean, a small bay, home to the picturesque fishing village of Fyropotamos. There you will find one of the best beaches and a picturesque harbor built around a natural bay with green waters for unforgettable moments of beauty and recreation. In Fyropotamos Creek, there are the famous wire: small houses into which the boats are kept during the winter period and which, in the summer, the owners use for summer homes.
