Sailing Holidays in Agios Georgios Beach
Relatively large and popular beach with sand, pebbles and crystal clear waters located in the northern coast, near the northern point, deep in a bay. Is exposed in the north. Although there are 2-3 buildings the area is uninhabited and deserted on the beach. There are trees that offer shade at midday. Because there is not any kind of organization here is to care for the essentials (water, sunscreen, umbrella, hat, medicine and food). Within walking distance of the beach is the white chapel of St. George, from whom is named the beach. Also, following a small path you can go at 'Kastelos' where there are ruins of ancient city. Access is by foot from a paved path that begins shortly there after the church of St. Andrew in Ano Meria or along a dirt road from Ano Meria (10 to 15 minutes). Leading to the beach and other paths that start at various points after the Ano Meria. Of course many visitors come by boat to do around the island. Perfect beach for nude bathing, fishing and snorkelling.
