Sailing Holidays in Artemida
Artemis is a municipality of Attica region extending from the Mesogeia plain, in the heart of Attica Mediterranean land, up to the coast of South Evian Gulf. The Municipality has a rich coastline that stretches across the eastern side with the most part suitable for swimming, with clear waters and variety of coasts.
Farmland, mostly vineyards and olive groves, lie around. Retsina wine was the traditional cash crop of the whole area, complemented with olives and olive oil, figs, almonds, pistachios, and wheat. In recent years the region has experienced a major growth, both residential as well as commercial, due to the operation of Eleftherios Venizelos, the nearby airport.
