Agios Petros beach is located on the road to Stavropeda from Gavrio. The beach is very beautiful, with golden sand and warm shallow waters, that makes it ideal for families with young children. A few taverns can also be found here with local delicacies and fresh fishes. Right above the beach, on a cliff, visitors can admire the cylindrical tower of St. Petros. On the beach there is a windsurfing club center which offers lessons and the necessary equipment. The team is always available for any help but it has to be considered that the formation of the rocks of the beach and the strong winds make windsurfing difficult even for experienced surfers.
