Just like with Mikri Vlychada beach, Megali Vlychada can be accessed through a path from Tholaria village at about 1 hour walk. The beach is very big, covered with fine golden sand and boasts clean waters, offering one of the best swimming options on the island, away from busy and crowded spots. Although access is not very easy and the path cannot be easily recognized, Megali Vlychada is definitely worth the trouble!
