Beautiful little secluded beach with a small colored pebbles 23 km from Sitia and just 4 from Palekastro. The clear blue waters of the Libyan Sea will fascinate you. Although close to the beach there is only a tavern so even in the heart of summer visitors are few. On the back side of the beach are some trees for shade midday. Access: After Shorn towards Vai on the right hand is a sign that says Maridati is 1.2 km (moor road). The beach is affected by the winds and is ideal for windsurfing.
