Located 80 km south of Chania Loutro beach is a very small pebbled beach, inside the homonymous bay, which is only accessible by boat. It is a natural shelter from the winds. Loutro has calm waters and is well organized. In the village there are many cafes, shops and restaurants. In June and August is very crowded. Loutro offers visitors the opportunity to explore the underwater world, as it's ideal for snorkeling. Also this beach is ideal for sea kayaking. Visitors can improve their skills at kayak with sessions by expert coaches and then may have a four days trip if they wish.
